Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><P><SPAN>This service contains additional layers that are not on our SDE and have to be hosted on Enterprise. The layers are updated infrequently and are updated on an as needed basis.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The following layers are included:</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Water Service Area - The water service area layer defines the boundary from which each part of the city gets their water. It is broken into two general areas; Portsmouth and Chesapeake. This layer is updated infrequently, but may change from time to time depending on changes in water usage and valving.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Planimetric Grid - The planimetric grid breaks the city apart in 5000' squares. This help determine pre-gis information that reference the grid rather than broken apart by intersection numbers or pump station service areas. This layer is not updated.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Sewer Planimetric - This layer contains the same grid that the planimetric has, but incorporates specific links to the sewer drawings for each of the areas. While these drawings are historic and not precise they can be used to find abandoned assets or buried assets.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Water Planimetric - This layer contains the same grid that the planimetric has, but incorporates specific links to the water drawings for each of the areas. While these drawings are historic and not precise they can be used to find abandoned assets or buried assets.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Sewer Contracts - The sewer contract layer identifies the location of old contracts for sewer projects across the city. The layer serves as a tool when trying to find drawings that may not yet be in the image catalog.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Water Contracts - The sewer contract layer identifies the location of old contracts for sewer projects across the city.
