Description: This layer was generated from the soils layers for Chesapeake obtained from the USDA NRCS website's Soil Data Mart and located in L:\citydata\Natural Heritage Data\USDA Soil Data. The data represents a 2005 soil survey of the city. Using the Soil Data Viewer tool for ArcMap, the Building Site - Dwellings without Basements report was generated showing soil types with moderate shrink swell potential.
