Contours were generated from a regional bare earth DEM from the USGS resampled from 2ft grids to 20ft grids, using the nearest resampling method. The resampling allows for smoother, more cartographic contours. The DEM was hydro-flattened and reviewed at 1:5000. Elevations are in NAVD88(feet). Contours generated that measured less than 100 in the Shape_Length field were removed. Elevations are based on a "bare-earth." The points were created by using the ArcGIS "Create Random Points" tool and used the extent of the USGS DEM mosaic. The "Extract Values to Points" tool was then used to extract the values of the DEM to the random points. The elevations of the result are given in NAVD88(feet). Random points that fell within the hydropoly feature class (as of 7/28/2026) were excluded from the final output. Elevations are based on a "bare-earth."
