This layer was created over the years from information extracted from the Chesapeake Health Department's databases. Addresses of where drinking water wells are located were geocoded to the parcel level to create this feature class. The last extract from the Health Department's database was made in 2005. All the properties in southern Chesapeake that have a residential house on the property were added too assuming they would have wells. Also wells from the residential properties in our PU unserved areas were added. |
