Service Description: This service includes the gravity force main system for the City of Chesapeake. It also includes the private and HRSD force mains throughout the city. Points and Lines are both representative on what is currently in the ground. The data was created to show the location of all underground utility assets. Each of the assets contains information regarding information such as size, material, length and unique asset numbers.
The data contained here within was created by using a various of sources which included, but are not limited to, GPS, geo-referenced record drawings and field observations. The locations of the HRSD force main layers were created and shared by them. A good effort is made to keep the data as accurate and precise as possible and is updated on an as needed basis.
