Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">SONO Business District</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>South Norfolk Business District or Overlay as defined by City Council.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The purpose and intent of creating the South Norfolk business overlay district are to establish special zoning standards for the area which accomplish the following: (1) enhance those physical and architectural aspects of the area which make it attractive and consistent with the historic character of the community it serves; (2) limit uses in the area to those that are consistent with promoting commercial revitalization; (3) provide development flexibility that allows and encourages the improvement and upgrading of the area. The South Norfolk business overlay district encompasses all those properties now or hereafter zoned B-1, B-2, B-5, and O&I and located within the area identified in the map entitled “South Norfolk Business Overlay District Map” on the City's website.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Tax Increment Fund Zones</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>To provide a geographic representation of the location of Tax Increment Fund areas within the City of Chesapeake.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Tax Increment Fund boundaries established by city ordinance There are currently 2, one in South Norfolk and one in Greenbrier. The South Norfolk TIF also represents the Revitalization District.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The purpose of this data set is to identify those areas within the City that are impacted by the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act. Areas within the City that come under the purview of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Fentress AICUZ/APZ</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>In the 1970's the Department of Defense established the Air Installations Compatible Use Zones (AICUZ) Program to balance the needs for aircraft operations and community concerns. The AICUZ guidelines define zones of high noise and accident potential surrounding military airfields and recommend uses that are compatible within these zones. The Fentress Overlay District includes all lots within the city located partially or wholly within the AICUZ noise contour for greater than 75 db Ldn (noise zone 3).</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This layer shows the noise contours and accident potential zones surround Naval Auxiliary Landing Field Fentress.</SPAN></P><P /><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">Fentress Restricted Property Development</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Shows the restrictive easements and easement types around Fentress.
