Description: This layer was created to provide the locations of sampling locatioins. The locations were previously on private property, so having them in a public right-of-way prvides a safer and more consistant sample. As more fund come available new sites will be added to the layer. Over time GPS locations of each of them will be collected as well. Contains the following fields:ADDRESS: Address location of the sampling stationVDH_SITE: Number assigned by VDH to each individual stationPAGENUM: Number of the planimetric sheet where the locatioin is.ASSETNUM: Individual location ID per planimetric sheet.FITTYPE: Code for water sampling location. Defaults to WSMMXASSETNUM: Unique ID per sampling location. It is a combination of PAGENUM, ASSETNUM & FITTYPEMSASSETLOC: Location ID for Maximo to use to determine what "bucket" to put it in.For example: WD-001-WSM (Water Distribution - Planimetric Sheet # - Asset Type)INST_YEAR: When the sampling location was installedNOTES: Any additional information about the sampling locationGPS_PT: Whether or not the location was captured using a GPS. Description: Within this feature class there is information for VDH based upon the requirements for the Lead Service Replacement project. These fields include information about the service lines/connections that are on city side of the water meters as well as information about the private side of the meter. Included in the layer there are fields with the pipe diameter, pipe type, lead presence, and the methods of collection, identification, and verification of the service lines.In addition to the water service line information data specific to the water meters is also included. In these fields the meter size, location, cycle, route and replacement status are shown.The Public Utilities GIS staff will update the records by using information from field crews, record drawings and other relative information. The data is updated and corrected on an as needed basis.
